A quiet day

Spent the day catching up on ISU work. Did manage several walks and discovered another news stand that carries English language newspapers. Had dinner at my favorite restaurant. A group from ISU is here this week. Their flight was delayed and so arrived a day late.

One thing I noticed in my walks is that there seems to be a bit more security around the neighborhood. I wonder if it is because of all the Red Shirt demonstrations last spring.

Political situation is a bit rocky, but sorta calm. There is a demonstration on Sunday. From what I read the Thai people are tired of all the demonstrations. There will be an election this year.
